The state’s support in its endeavor to implement the 1701 and restrict weapons in its hands

The Maronite Bishop held their monthly meeting in the Patriarchal edifice in Bakri, headed by Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al -Raei, and the participation of the two presidents of the Maronite monastic. And they studied church and national affairs. At the end of the meeting, they issued a statement followed by the Patriarchal MP, Archbishop Antoine Awkar, in which he said:

1- Parents record their satisfaction with the launch of the wheel of formations and appointments in the public administration, the judicial body and military and security institutions, hoping that this will be a premature reforms expected in the structures of the various state.

2- Parents hope to accelerate the pace of negotiation between the Lebanese government and international financial references, because of its great impact on the general financial and economic reality, and what it reflects from the expectation of breakthroughs in the labor markets and the lives of the Lebanese.

3- Parents welcomes the procedural authority to open work at Qulayat Airport, which reduces the burdens overlooking travelers and trade, and constitutes an excellent step on the road of expanded administrative decentralization.

4- Parents draw the attention of politicians, parties, and parliamentary blocs to the maximum importance related to following up the implementation of the National Accord Agreement and the evaluation of gaps that have some of what was implemented of it, provided that this is removed from the conflict and auctions circuit, to the national interest and the good of citizens.

5- Parents appeal to the sons and daughters of the homeland, to provide a healthy, civilized, civilized example in the optional and municipal elections that are scheduled for next month, so they exercise their right and responsibility to choose the most efficient and most integrity in managing public affairs, with disclosure of personal considerations and sterile family nervousness. They also call citizens in Beirut, the major cities and societies that include the vary Lebanese components, to preserve the norms that respect the distinguished pluralism of Lebanon.

6- Parents support the Lebanese state in its endeavor to secure the complete accurate implementation of the international resolution 1701, so that its sovereignty over all Lebanese territory is extended and weapons are limited to its hand, so all of Lebanon turns into a security, calm and peace area.

7- The parents of the brothers in the Islamic sects go to the best wishes for the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, may God grant them peace and the whole country, and its general goodness, and it provides us together with the power of faith and the reasons for hope and determination to fulfill the awaiting us from our exertion and sacrifices for the sake of its salvation and its elevation.

8- Parents ask God for the water of the response of our prayers, supplications, and good initiatives in the time of fasting, which is the end of its end, and they invalidate to it so that the glorious Easter is a feast for our victory over ourselves, churches, sons and daughters, and a feast of hope for the effects of this victory in our private and public life. ”
