Algeria announces the shooting down of an armed plane after a penetration of two kilometers


The Algerian Ministry of Defense said on Tuesday that the army shot down a “armed march reconnaissance plane” after it violated the country’s airspace.

The ministry added in a statement that the army shot down the driving plane near the town of Tin Zotin, in the south of the country.


The statement did not give details about the identity of the plane.
