The Contracting Professors Committee demands to expedite the raising of the wage of the contract hour and the installation of the professors

The committee affirmed “its strong commitment to defending the rights of colleagues, as we were always at the forefront of efforts to collect the rights of professors, starting with increasing the wage of the contract hour and reaching the achievement of the transport decree and providing a production allowance in the summer.”

Minister Rima Karami appealed to “the necessity of speeding up the fee of the new contract hour, although it does not rise to the aspirations of the contracting professors, and we also ask her to accelerate the completion of the procedures for signing the contracts of professors, so that they can receive their financial dues for the first semester and transportation allowance.”

She also made an urgent appeal to the minister, “to work seriously to prepare a draft law to confirm the contracting professors who made great sacrifices to strengthen the official school, and they withstood valor during economic crises, Corona and wars. These professors deserve to be installed without any conditions. ”
