The money seized to build an educational edifice

A “dialectical” Shiite figure said that the $ 2.5 million that the state seized with one of Turkey on February 28 belongs to the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council and is observed to build an educational edifice – the “Islamic University” in the Bekaa, specifically in the city of Hermel.

This character called “the state to pledge to start the establishment of this project and not to waste the money allocated to the city and the Bekaa.”

It was reported previously that the Supreme Islamic Islamic Council sent a book to the discriminatory public prosecutor Judge Jamal Al -Hajjar, in which he announced that “the seized funds belong to the council, which are donations obtained from foreign societies, and requests their liberation and recovery.”

However, a prominent judicial source informed the newspaper “Al -Sharq Al -Awsat”, that “what is surprising is that the council did not rush to inform the official authorities that the funds belong to it until 3 days after its confiscation, and that it did not provide official documents proving that it has these funds and its sources,” pointing out that “all the funds of donations that come from abroad, whether in favor of charities or religious institutions, are being declared in advance, which is being declared in advance. Its source is determined before entering Lebanon.
