Ahmed Al -Sharaa recalls his memories in a mosque 20 years ago: We were afraid here


Ahmed Al -Shara, the memories of his prayers in a mosque in the Mezzeh neighborhood, 20 years ago, during his prayers in the same mosque, but as president of Syria.

Al -Shara spoke about the “greatest moments” that he had in his life, when he said that he was praying in this mosque 20 years ago, and he and the worshipers were afraid that they would be arrested after any prayer, but now he returns to the mosque itself, in different circumstances.

Al -Shara said: “One of the greatest moments that have passed in my life … is a strange thing that comes out of a neighborhood or a mosque 20 years ago. We were praying in this mosque and waiting for those around us, and we fear, every day we expect to imprison or pursue. ”

And he added: “We chose a path … to be our feast on the Levant, we went out of the Levant to return to it again, and praise be to God, may God Almighty honor us.”

On Friday, the Syrian president stressed the continuation of the prosecution of those who described them as the remnants of the fallen regime and bring them into fair trials.

Al -Shara said in a speech after the security events taking place in the Syrian coast region: “By your heinous act by killing those who protect Syria, you have assaulted all the Syrians, and thus you have committed a sin that is not forgiven, and the response that you do not be patient came to you, so you came to surrender your weapons and yourselves.”

“We do not want to shed the blood of anyone.” He called the “aggressors” to surrender their weapons and themselves before it is too late. (Sky News)
