Wide Israeli raids in Syria (photos)

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari revealed new documents related to incursions by the Golan 474 Brigade in Syrian territory, which the Israeli army considers a buffer zone. The operations included the destruction of weapons and the conduct of extensive searches.

Later, the 210th Division of the Israeli Army carried out air strikes targeting sites inside Syrian territory, as the forces found large quantities of weapons, confiscated and destroyed them.

This comes at a sensitive time, as tensions are escalating inside Syria between the new regime forces and the remnants of the Assad regime, while the forces of the 474th Brigade, which belongs to the 210th Division, continue their security and military activities in the region.

The Israeli forces are deployed at observation points inside the Syrian buffer zone. During the past week, the units of paratroopers, armored vehicles, and the Yahyam private unit, led by Brigade 474, carried out targeted raids based on accurate intelligence information.

The Israeli forces managed to seize huge quantities of weapons that included rifles, ammunition, missiles and other military equipment, which were confiscated and destroyed.

The military statement confirmed that the Israeli army will continue its military operations to remove any threats and strengthen its defenses on the border with Syria. (Arm News)
