Unemployment subsidy requests decreased in the United States

The number of Americans who applied for unemployment aid fell more than expected last week, indicating that the labor market was stable last November.

The US Department of Labor said today, Thursday, that requests for initial unemployment subsidies decreased by 21 thousand requests to the level of a seasonal rate of 221 thousand requests in the week ending in the first of this March.
