After the fees war .. Washington is looking for a compromise

US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lottenic, said that the United States may find a “compromise” with Canada and Mexico on customs duties.

The minister’s statement came hours after the decision of US President Donald Trump to impose customs duties by 25% on Canada and Mexico products into effect on Tuesday.

Lootnick added in an interview with “Fox Business” that customs duties will not be suspended, but Trump may reach a settlement.

He continued: “I think he will find a way. You will do more, and I will meet you in the middle of the road somehow. ”

Earlier on Wednesday, Mexican President Claudia Shinbom said, commenting on the American drawings, that she would coordinate with Canada and other countries on American drawings. She added: I may talk to Trump on Thursday. We may resort to new commercial partners.

The Mexican president announced that her country would respond to the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on “customs and non -customs” drawings.

“There is no reason or justification” for Trump’s decision to impose customs definitions by 25% on Mexico, despite its cooperation in combating drug trafficking efforts. (Tumor)
