After implementing the new American customs duties .. Here is what happened to international stock indicators


Most of the international stock indicators rose today, Wednesday, after a volatile session in “Wall Street”, affected by the entry of high American customs duties on Canada, Mexico and China on Tuesday.

The German “DAX” index increased by 2.4% to 22958.74 points, after potential partners in the upcoming German government said that they wanted to reduce the rules related to reducing debts to allow increased defense spending.

The French CAC 40 index increased by 1.9% to 8197.43 points, and the British Fotsi 100 index increased by 0.7% to 8819.57 points.

China announced that it was aimed at economic growth at an annual rate of about 5% during the year 2025, in line with the goal of last year, as the Chinese Prime Minister, Lee Qiang, pledged more government spending and other measures to support growth.

The Hang Singh Index in Hong Kong increased by 2.8% to 23594.21 points, and the Shanghai boat index rose 0.6% to 3341.96 points.

The Japanese Nikai 225 Standard Index rose 0.2% to 37418.24 points. The Cosby index in South Korea increased by 1.2% to 2558.13 points.

The Australian “Standard & Poor’s/ASX 200” index fell by 1.2% to 8141.10 points.
