The Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Joe Salloum, announced in a statement that the Syndicate Council “made an appeal before the State Shura Council, with a license to open and invest a pharmacy issued by the Ministry of Health, on 29/1/25, a few days before its departure, only 62 meters from its nearest pharmacy, unlike the law, which stipulates a distance of 300 meters as a minimum between a pharmacy and another, and unlike the books of several objection from the Pharmacists Syndicate He sent the Ministry of Health for more than two years, supported by a book from the governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, and other objections to the affected pharmacies, which were made by another appeal before the Shura Council.

He considered that “this scandalous violation is one of dozens of violations added to a license for pseudonyms, the so -called Chain Pharmacy, and other matters that eliminate the health and pharmaceutical system in Lebanon and obtain the health of the citizen.”
