The disagreement between Khamenei and Bzkhaklan escalated .. Will the crisis of government in Iran be exposed?

The differences within the Iranian regime are more clear, especially with regard to negotiations with the United States on the nuclear file. This tension emerged between the guide Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Bouchashian, as the latter revealed that he was supporting negotiations with US President Donald Trump, but Khamenei opposed this.

This division comes in light of the escalation of popular discontent, which reflects the breadth of the gap inside the driving. In a remarkable step, Bzshkin lost two of his senior assistants in one day, as Parliament sacked the Minister of Economy Abdel Nasser Hamti, while Mohamed Jawad Zarif, Assistant President for Strategic Affairs, submitted his resignation, indicating the increasing pressure within the government.

During the interrogation of the Minister of Economy in Parliament, Bouchakian stressed that refusing to negotiate with Washington is not the government’s decision, but rather Khamenei’s position, warning that this has exacerbated the economic crisis. He pointed out that Iranian oil and gas exports face dangerous obstacles, while countries such as Iraq, Turkey and Qatar are unable to pay Iran’s oil dues.

Although Khamenei did not mention the name, his statements bore an implicit criticism, bearing the guide responsible for the economic repercussions caused by the rejection of negotiations.

The public dispute between the guide and the president on a central issue, such as negotiating with the United States, is an indication of leadership cracking, which may affect the stability of the regime. In authoritarian regimes, internal cohesion is an essential element for survival, but the current divisions may weaken the grip of the regime on government.

For his part, Abdel Nasser, Hamti, warned, during his interrogation session, of the seriousness of the economic situation, noting that 10 million Iranians entered the poverty line during the last seven years, and that 80% of the people suffer from the consequences of corruption and the monopoly of economic mafia. It also revealed the smuggling of $ 30 billion annually through illegal ports, which is believed to be under the control of the Revolutionary Guards.

Khamenei insists on following the confrontation approach with Washington to preserve the ideological regime, while the Bazshkian government realizes that the continuation of sanctions without negotiation will make the economy management almost impossible. This contradiction reflects a deep crisis within the leadership, which puts the system in a more fragile position in front of internal and external challenges. (News Now)
