The Arab Summit adopts Egypt’s plan for the reconstruction of Gaza

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi announced that the emergency Arab summit adopted Egypt’s plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.

Al -Sisi said at the conclusion of the Arab summit, which was hosted by the capital, Cairo: “The plan was adopted … At the end of this central summit, I extend my brothers with sincere thanks and great appreciation for your sincere effort and your estimated support for what was presented.”

At the beginning of the summit, he revealed that the plan on Gaza includes the survival of the Palestinians on their land.

He stated that Egypt will host a conference for the reconstruction of Gaza next month, adding, “We worked with the Palestinians to establish an independent committee to rule Gaza.”

He added: “Egypt is training the Palestinian security cadres that will take security in the Gaza Strip.”

He continued: “We call on the Arab countries to adopt the Egyptian plan on Gaza … and there is no peace without establishing an independent Palestinian state.”

The Egyptian President expressed his confidence in the ability of his American counterpart Donald Trump to achieve peace regarding the Palestinian issue, stressing that “the peace agreement with Egypt must be built to support the peace path in the region.”

This plan aims to confront an American proposal to control the Gaza Strip and resettle its residents in neighboring countries.
