After leaving Riyadh, heading to Cairo … a telegram of thanks from President Aoun to the Saudi Crown Prince

The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, concluded his official visit to Saudi Arabia and went to Cairo, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Youssef Raji, to participate in the extraordinary Arab summit.

After leaving Saudi Arabia, President Aoun directed a telegram of thanks to the Saudi Crown Prince after the departure, saying:

“I thank you for the hospitality that I received, which reflects the depth of the brotherly relations that Lebanon links Lebanon to history. Our talks have established the solid foundations for a new stage of relationships that we agreed to activate and develop in all fields.

He continued: “I hope that you will be transferred to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with a deep appreciation of the Lebanese for his historical stances towards Lebanon and its people, looking forward to a close meeting with your Highness to complete the research on the topics that we talked about.”
