Britain supports sending forces to Ukraine

“Britain will play a leadership role if necessary in sending ground forces and fighters to the sky of Ukraine,” Starmer said in a speech to the British House of Commons.

Starmer indicated that American support is necessary for the success of such tasks.

Starmer added: “We agreed that if a peace agreement is reached, we will continue to strengthen Ukraine’s defenses and its ability to deter.”

He continued: “Europe cannot provide security guarantees to Ukraine without our support. Europe will continue to arm Ukraine after peace.”
