The Minister of Health discussed with a delegation from the European Union in bilateral cooperation

The Minister of Public Health, Rakan Nasser Al -Din, discussed in his office in the ministry, with a delegation from the European Union headed by the Ambassador of the Union in Lebanon, Sandra de Weel, with joint cooperation projects in the health field.

The delegation affirmed the completion of the support provided to the health sector in Lebanon to develop the system, especially in the field of primary health care, medicine and immunization programs, as well as the continuation of technical support for the mechanization of the ministry’s regulations, improving performance and helping to complete the implementation of the national health strategy – Vision 2030.

Minister Nasser Al -Din noted the European support for the health sector in Lebanon, pointing to his “continuing to implement the existing strategy and move forward in achieving more projects with the support of the European Union and international partners.”

On the other hand, Minister Nasser Al -Din, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, received a visit to a protocol acquaintance, during which ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of health were discussed.
