The White House is studying plans to lift sanctions against Russia and reduce restrictions

According to Reuters news agency, the White House issued instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Treasury to submit a list of sanctions that can be reduced as part of negotiations with Russia on Ukraine.

According to the agency, the US authorities are studying the possibility of partial raising of punitive restrictions as part of broader diplomatic efforts to improve relations with Russia and find ways to settle the conflict in Ukraine.

“Reuters” said: “The relevant authorities are currently working on preparing a proposal to cancel the restrictions imposed on specific companies and individuals, including some Russian oligarshin.”
