China is studying ways to respond to American recognition


Chinese manufacturers announced the rise in orders last February, as importers rushed to overcome the high American customs duties imposed by US President Donald Trump, while a Chinese media report stated that Beijing is studying ways to respond.

And Trump imposed, earlier, 10 percent customs duties on imports from China, and are scheduled to rise to 20 percent starting tomorrow, Tuesday.

The Global Times, affiliated with the ruling Communist Party in China, said on Monday that Beijing is studying both customs duties and non -customs measures to face the high customs duties imposed by Trump. (Sky News)
