I can save my relationship with Trump

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski said on Sunday he believed that he could save his relationship with his American counterpart Donald Trump after their stormy meeting at the White House of Oval Office on Friday.

Zelinski emphasized that the conversations should be moved in a different form.

The Ukrainian president added that he does not believe that the United States will stop its aid to Ukraine because this will only help Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he said that he would work to prepare for any challenges that may arise.

Zelinski told reporters in London on Sunday that he believed that “our relationship with America will continue and are ready to sign the mineral agreement with it.”

Earlier on Sunday, Zellinski said that his country was feeling strong, and expressed his satisfaction with what he said was “a very high European unity that we have not seen for a long time.”

“We all work together in Europe to find a basis for cooperation with America for real peace and guaranteed security,” Zellinski wrote on Telegram after a summit for European leaders.

British Prime Minister Kiir Starmer considered on Sunday that “Europe should bear the greatest burden” to ensure peace in Ukraine, noting that several countries are ready to contribute to defending any possible truce agreement.

Starmer urged the United States again to provide support to deter President Putin for violating any potential ceasefire, after talks in London that gathered Kev allies in the presence of Zelinski. (Sky News)
