A poll reveals the truth of what the Americans feel towards Russia

A poll conducted by “CBS” television channel and “Yougov” company revealed that more than a third of the Americans consider Russia an ally or friendly country to the United States of America.

The survey results showed that 34% of the United States population considers Russia an ally or a friend of the United States, and among the supporters of the Republican Party, the percentage of those who have a positive position towards Russia reached 41%.

The survey was conducted between 26 and 28 February, for 2311 American participants, and the error margin was 2.5 percentage points.

A high -level Russian -American talks were held in Riyadh on February 18. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the two parties agreed during the first direct meeting in a long time to create conditions to resume full cooperation between Russia and the United States and expand it to include new areas of common attention. In particular, Moscow and Washington have agreed to remove the artificial restrictions imposed on the work of the embassies and institutions of the two countries, and to create high -level working groups to start working to solve the crisis in Ukraine as soon as possible. The minister also expressed his confidence that the United States after the talks had a better understanding of Russia’s position. (Russia today)
