Moody’s raises the classification of Tunisia to CAA1 with a stable future look

Moody’s credit rating agency raised the classification of Tunisia to CAA1 with a stable future look.

“Moody’s” said in its report that the promotion reflects the noticeable improvement in the file of foreign debt consumption in Tunisia, which reflects the government’s ability to improve the country’s financial situation.

The agency also indicated that the promotion also reflects the ability of the Tunisian Central Bank to maintain stable foreign exchange reserves over the past two years.
