The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations “FAO” has warned that 4.4 million people in Somalia may face hunger by Nissan 2025 as a result of the exacerbation of drought, conflict and high food prices.

This number represents 23% of the population, as 3.4 million people are currently suffering from the crisis levels or the lack of food insecurity.

This warning comes amid a sharp deficiency in financing, as the humanitarian response plan for 2025 was not funded only by 12.4% out of $ 1.42 billion required.
