Despite the clashes that occurred at the Lebanese -Syrian border during the recent times between Lebanese on the one hand and the Liberation of Al -Sham on the other hand, smuggling operations are still ongoing at the border, and what was found is that the “arteries” of transporting goods were not cut off, especially through the bodies that control smuggling corridors in the barren.

Sources familiar with the file indicated that the border operations are based on passing foodstuffs, while the focus is largely on the diesel and other fuels that are still coming out of Lebanon towards Syria to sell at high prices, and she adds: “Currently, the diesel plate is sold at 15.4 dollars, but the smugglers sell it to the Syrian at about 30 dollars, which gives them double profits on each plate.”
