A huge fire broke out, on Friday evening, inside an apartment located on the second floor of a building on Al -Hurriya Street in Tripoli, which resulted in the injury of 11 people with suffocation.

As a result, the civil defense mechanisms and ambulance teams in the emergency and relief apparatus rushed to the place, where firefighting teams worked to combat the fire that devoured a large part of the apartment, and after extensive efforts, they managed to control the fire.

The ambulance teams reported that they had helped 8 cases of suffocation in the field, in addition to one injury that was transferred to the Islamic Hospital for treatment, while the Red Cross teams worked to help two fields in the field.

According to field sources, the cause of the fire is due to the use of firecrackers.
