In Zahle .. thwarting smuggling a large amount of Captagon and hashish pills

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following communication:

In the context of the ongoing follow -up by the Internal Security Forces to pursue those involved in the smuggling and arrest of narcotic drugs, and within the framework of the security plan set by the judicial police unit aimed at combating the scourge of drugs on all Lebanese lands.

As a result of the intensive investigations and investigations carried out by the Central Anti -Central Office, data for this office was available about a network preparation for the smuggling of a large amount of narcotic substances to one of the Arab countries.

After the relentless follow -up, the identity of one of the members of this network was reached, which was in the process of transporting the drugs intended to be smuggled aboard a pickup, called:

On 19-20-2025, and in the city of Zahle / Kassara Road, a force was installed from the aforementioned office, with a periodic support from the Regional Anti-Regional Office in Zahle, a tight ambush that led to his arrest.

By searching it and the automatic vehicle, it was seized:

/ 145/ kg of Captagon pills (about 800/ thousand tablets).
/ 270/ kg of hashish.
By listening, he admitted that he loaded the drugs at the request of his brother (work is underway to arrest him), from the house of the so -called:

R. C. (Born in 1986, Lebanese)
The object in the town of Al -Suwairi.

Immediately, the latter’s house was raided and arrested.

The legal requirement was conducted against the detainees, and the bicar was booked, based on the reference to the competent judiciary.
