Sweden’s economy grows at the fastest pace in two and a half years

The Swedish economy recorded a growth in the fastest pace in two and a half years, to exceed initial estimates, thanks to the power of exports and investments that prompted recovery in the largest economic system between the northern countries.

The Swedish Statistical Office stated that the country’s gross domestic product increased during the last quarter of last year, according to modified data after calculating seasonal changes, by 0.8 percent compared to the previous quarter of the previous quarter, at the highest growth rate since the second quarter of 2022.

This percentage increases the weakness of Bloomberg News estimates, which expected the economic growth rate in Sweden to reach 0.3 percent. (Sky News)
