Appointment of a new ambassador to Russia in Washington

On Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced the appointment of Alexander Darthev as a new ambassador to Russia in Washington.

Dartchev is expected to leave for his workplace in the United States in the near future.

The ministry said that “Washington sent an official memorandum to us that includes approval to appoint Dartchiv as a new ambassador to Russia to the United States.” (Sky News Arabia)
