The Prime Minister, Judge Nawaf Salam, visited the city of Nabatieh, as part of his southern tour today, and was accompanied by the ministers: Joe Sadi, Fayez Rasamani, Tamara Al -Zain and the Secretary General, the Supreme Council of Defense, Major General Mohamed Al -Mustafa.

He was received by the Acting Governor of Nabatieh, Dr. Howaida Al -Turk and personalities, as he toured the commercial market that was destroyed by Israeli warplanes in the 66 -day aggression, and the influence appeared to President Salam from the large extent of the destruction he witnessed, and listened to the governor of the process of removing the backfilling, raising damage and re -working with the destructive infrastructure in the city.

During his tour of the streets surrounding the commercial market, many citizens directed cries and demands for President Salam, who stood up to them, especially the demands of reconstruction, and praising the resistance, which “without which we would not have been here”, and calls to preserve “the commandments and blood of the martyrs” that faced the enemy.

After the tour, President Salam had a modern in front of the media, and he said: “Today we came to Nabatiyeh for two goals, first to listen to the citizens, after we listened to a section of them in Tire and tents, and then to see in the field, after what we saw of pictures and reports, today we see with the mother of Al -Ain destruction in the homes and the commercial market, in addition to the destroyed schools, roads and burned agricultural lands.”

He added: “It is certain, there is a difference between what you see in the mother of Al -Ain and what you read and hear, and I say in my name and the name of my colleagues in the government that this situation only increases us insisting on expediting the restoration of the reconstruction process, and we did not promise the process of reconstruction, but rather we adhere to the process of reconstruction and, God willing, faster than you expect.
