Lebanon is witnessing weather fluctuations in the coming days, as the weather is expected to improve in some periods while witnessing other changes accompanied by rain and snow.

In this context, the head of the Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Department at Beirut Airport, Mohamed King, confirms in an interview with “Liban Dibitte”, that “today’s weather is witnessing remarkable stability with a gradual recovery in temperatures that approach their normal rates, however, the risk of ice formation is based on heights above 1000 meters during the evening.”

King notes that “this stability will begin to change as of this evening, as light rains are expected, especially in the southern regions with active winds, and from the dawn of Saturday, a new low air effect starts from Greece, where snow and rain will fall, with rain on the north and south, while Beirut witnesses some wide breakthroughs without there being a heavy rain, as will continue Snow falls at a height of 1400 meters. ”

He explains that “this volatile weather is expected to continue for a short period, extending from this evening until Saturday evening, while the weather on Sunday indicates that there will be a noticeable improvement, as the temperatures will be moderate and the weather will be sunny, with low clouds, with temperatures less than their normal levels of this time of the year on the coast, where temperatures usually range in March between 13 and 22 degrees Celsius, and we will be under these rates.”

With regard to the weather in the coming days, King points out that “there will be a break from the volatile weather on Sunday and Monday and Tuesday, and it is expected that the temperatures will witness a tangible rise in Monday to approach their normal rate 1000 meters. ”
