A round table at the University of Kaslik on legal and diplomatic protection for Lebanese heritage

The Faculty of Rights and Political Science at the University of the Holy Spirit – Kaslik and the UNESCO Chair “Education on responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable development” at the university, in cooperation with the Lebanese National Committee of UNESCO, held a round table entitled “Lebanese Heritage Protection: Legal and Diplomatic Protection of UNESCO World Heritage sites in Lebanon during The ladder and conflict periods were moderated by the journalist Yazbek Wahba.

The speakers highlighted the role of international law and cultural diplomacy in protecting world humanitarian heritage. The discussion axes included the Hague Convention for Cultural Property Protection, the deepening of Lebanon’s achievements in UNESCO diplomacy and the contributions of a number of legal and cultural experts. ++
