A few days before Ramadan …

The head of the Food Supervisors Syndicate, Hani, issued a statement today, reassuring the Lebanese, and days ago, the start of the holy month of Ramadan, to provide all food commodities in large quantities that overflow the need for the consumption of the Lebanese and visitors during the holy month.

He pointed out that the Lebanese importers have diversified the sources of food commodities from many countries, which allows the consumer several options for one category in proportion to his taste and capabilities.
He explained that the diversification of food sources from several countries is controlled within specific criteria, especially the commitment to the specifications and standards determined by Lebanese laws.
As for the prices, he stressed that the prices of food in Lebanon are stable with slight changes in connection with the fluctuations of the prices of some food raw materials at the global level.
He concluded with his statement with the warmest wishes of the Lebanese, with the approaching month of Ramadan.
