On the salaries of the public sector … this is what the Ministry of Finance announced

Finance Minister Yassin Jaber received in his office in the ministry the Ambassador of Lebanon in Lebanon Hervé Magro on a congratulatory visit, during which it was a presentation of the reform steps adopted by the Ministry of Finance and for the existing support projects between the Ministry and the French Foundation AFD in the context of preparing for the weight of the year 2026.

Ambassador Magro expressed his country’s readiness to provide absolute support to the government and its reformist approach, expressing the readiness of the French state to provide every assistance in political and technical levels.
He revealed the interest of French President Emmanuel Macron and his intention to help to establish a fund to support the reconstruction process, especially since Lebanon announced its intention to show transparency on the issue of reforms.

Another context, the Ministry of Finance announced that it had transferred to the Bank of Lebanon the salaries of all military wires as well as pensions of retirees, and they can obtain them through their own banks, as of tomorrow.

It also announced that it will be treated tomorrow, Thursday, the salaries of the public sector on the Bank of Lebanon, to be arrested, starting next Friday.
