The judiciary in Lebanon should not become a weapon in the hands of the corrupt

Representative Ghassan Skaf called for amending the current election law to ensure the validity of the representation.

He added in a speech during the discussion session of the ministerial statement: “The judiciary in Lebanon should not become a weapon in the hands of the corrupt, and the government must execute corruption within the judicial corps and liberate the judiciary from the grip of politics.”

He asked: “Will the government adhere to the depositors’ money is sacred and must be returned to its owners?”

He pointed out that “the government should put its hand on the circulars of the Bank of Lebanon, which replaced the Capital Control Law, and the government must accelerate the restructuring of the banking sector.”

He said: “The government has missed the activation of work at Rayak Airport because of the benefits of the Bekaa region and thankful for its projects for Beirut and Qali’at rain.”

He called on the government to declare an environmental emergency to save the Litani.

He added: “The hopes of the government are great and we will use it according to its performance.”

He said, “We will give the government confidence.”
