In the German capital, Berlin, 4 members of the Palestinian Hamas movement began in the German capital, suspected of planning attacks on Jewish institutions in Europe.

Representatives of the German prosecution considered the incident as the first case to be considered by the judiciary against elements of the Palestinian movement in Germany.

Hamas elements were arrested in late 2023 on suspicion of planning attacks, according to the prosecution at that time.

“For the first time in Germany, suspects are accused of participating as members of the foreign terrorist organization Hamas,” Public Prosecutor Yoshn Finangarn told Reuters.

He added that “the four are accused of seeking to locate a secret weapons depot in Poland to launch possible attacks, and they were receiving orders from the deputy commander of the Al -Qassam Brigades in Lebanon.”
