On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed the need to support the plan of US President Donald Trump related to the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu said: “Trump’s plan on the Gaza Strip must be supported and applied,” Netanyahu said.

He explained that the plan aims to give the residents of the Gaza Strip the freedom to leave, noting that Israel supports this initiative.

He added that Israel’s primary goal is to eliminate Hamas and restore detainees, and to ensure that the sector does not pose a future threat to the Hebrew state.

He also pointed out that Israel is working to change the face of the Middle East thanks to the “courage of its fighters” and the political leadership decisions taken in this context.

US President Donald Trump considered that his plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip was “successful”, but he would not impose it, indicating that he would be satisfied with submitting recommendations.

On January 25, Trump suggested that the United States take control of Gaza and deport its inhabitants to other countries, especially Egypt and Jordan, to rebuild the devastating sector and turn it into “Rvira Middle East”.
