Accordingly, he stressed that “the security services are concerned today, very large, to confront this phenomenon, especially since there is a possibility of the spread of fake securities in light of the current regional chaos,” noting that “this harms the economy, given that it exceeds the legal economic cycle. A careful follow -up is required by the competent security authorities, such as public security, state security, and the Information Division.

He affirmed that “what happened two months ago may be repeated today, so there should be awareness and permanent caution by consumers and banking institutions, especially since the cashiers are the most affected by this matter, which requires them to scrutinize banknotes and ensure their authenticity.”

Abu Diab did not rule out that, in the event that there are no strict measures to face the matter before its outbreak, the boycott of the trading category of $ 50 may return, especially since many small shops are still avoiding their acceptance, due to its inability to bear any possible losses, otherwise For large institutions that have more effective protection and scrutiny.
