Oil lands amid expectations to resume supplies from Iraqi Kurdistan


Oil prices fell in early trading today, Monday, continuing their losses from last week, amid expectations of resuming exports from the oil fields in Iraqi Kurdistan, while investors are awaiting clarifications on talks aimed at ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Brent crude futures fell 20 cents, or 0.3%, to $ 74.23 a barrel by 01:13 GMT. The US West Texas Intermediate crude decreased by 28 cents, or 0.4%, to $ 70.12 a barrel.

The two crises had decreased by more than two dollars a barrel on Friday, and they also recorded weekly losses, according to Reuters.
