This is how Hezbollah will restore itself … an Israeli report reveals

“ArabNews” published a new report in which it said that “Hezbollah is able to build itself in Lebanon”, after the recent war that the country witnessed against Israel and lasted for about 15 months.

The report that translated it says Lebanon 24 “As expected, Israel refused to completely withdraw from Lebanon on February 18, leaving its forces in 5 border areas. Indeed, preserving the occupation in this way is specifically the same life that Hezbollah needs to revive itself.

He continued: “On the twenty -third of February, Hezbollah held the funeral of its former Secretary -General, Hassan Nasrallah, who was assassinated in an Israeli air strike on the twenty -seventh of September last year. The funeral was suitable for the party to show that it still has strong support among the Shiite community. ”

He added: “A few weeks ago, Wafik Safa, who is responsible for the unity of coordination and association in the party, said that Hezbollah will come out stronger than it was before. Perhaps it is a right side, as this support arose as a result of the grievances caused by the Israeli invasion in 1982. Now that Israel has succeeded in creating enough hatred and pain to give the party the batch it needs to rebuild itself.

And he added: “Before withdrawing from the areas they left, the Israeli forces were keen to burn the houses that were not already destroyed, and the towns near the border, such as Kafrkla, were completely destroyed. South Lebanon is an agricultural society, where people are living there from the crops they grow, and Israel has bombed the south with phosphorous bombs to ensure that these people are not able to grow their lands.

He continued: “The Israeli authorities are trying to create a land that no one is unannounced, which is a buffer zone along the border with Lebanon, and hopes that all destruction will be the determination of people from returning to their homes. Through this buffer zone and control of 5 strategic points along the border, Israel believes it can ensure the security of its settlements in Galilee.

He said: “In addition, the Israelis believe that their presence within the Lebanese border means that they will be able to move freely there and target anyone they want. A few days ago, for example, the Israeli forces carried out a drone attack in Sidon in which a Hamas activist, Muhammad Shaheen, assassinated. Israel can penetrate and roam the Lebanese airspace as they like. From time to time, it flying low and broken the sound of the sound, creating fear and anxiety between the Lebanese people.

The report stated that “the Israeli authorities do not see any restrictions on their actions,” and added: “Israel is able to do whatever it wants, as it violated all international laws in Gaza and did not face any consequences, so why not do that in Lebanon?”

He said: “But the Israelis do not appreciate the motive that this feeds between the Lebanese to respond, especially among the Shiites whose homes and lands destroyed, and this is something that Hezbollah, despite its weakness, can use it in its favor.”

He continued: “In order to understand the fall of the group completely, we must understand the reason for its ascension. The Hezbollah group arose as a result of the need to fight the Israeli occupation, and has developed from small random groups into a huge and organized guerrilla warfare force capable of spreading fear among the generals in Tel Aviv. Of course, its founding came three years after the Iranian revolution, and immediately after the Israeli invasion of Beirut, the rise of Hezbollah was the first export of the Iranian revolution to the Arab world, and its success was due primarily to the local need to fight the Israeli occupation.

And he added: “After the unilateral Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000, Hezbollah has justified its existence as a resistance organization. In the wake of the withdrawal of the Syrian forces in 2005, the group entered the battlefield of politics, and its members felt the necessity of this because they lost their Syrian sponsor. The political authority was a tool to protect their weapons; They did not want a government they could not control, and they were required to disarm them in compliance with the United Nations Security Council resolution No. 1559 of 2004 and the Taif Agreement of 1989 that ended the civil war in Lebanon.

He said: “In 2008, Hezbollah stressed its grip through the Doha Agreement, which was signed on May 21 of that year, which was designed to end a 18 -month political crisis as the weapons that the group went to the Israelis were directed to the Lebanese interior. On May 7, 2008, Hezbollah took over Beirut by force, and became part of the country’s political structure.

And he added: “With its expansion in the region, Hezbollah gained many enemies, as he lost any legitimacy that it had in the Arab world when he entered Syria and acted as an agent of Iran as part of the latter’s endeavor to regional domination.”

The report continued: “The Israeli attack on Hezbollah was last year using the booby -trapped bomber and other communication devices, and the broader war that recently erupted on Lebanon, as a warning bell of the group and its leaders who are still alive, they realized that they have been exhausted in depletion They themselves interfering in the affairs of other countries in the region. ”

He continued: “For this, the only way for Hezbollah to rebuild itself is to return to its origins as an armed resistance to the Israeli occupation, and the fact that grievances in southern Lebanon are strong enough to feed this project.”

The report added: “Wafik Safa was not completely wrong when it foretold that Hezbollah will eventually come out stronger than it was before, but this development will be very dangerous because it will lead to another war. The authorities in Israel are now in a state of chaos, and are supported by a lenient administration in the United States, and this means that if any resistance arises, the Israeli response will be very devastating to Lebanon. ”

He concluded: “The United States must be wise enough to realize that the continuation of the presence of Israeli forces in Lebanon, and its operations there with the aim of killing every Hezbollah member, will only strengthen the group’s strength in the long term. In order to achieve stability, Israel must withdraw, and the Lebanese state must be strengthened. If this happens, Hezbollah will eventually end up its weapon as an armed movement.
