The King of Jordan renews his country’s refusal to displace the Palestinians and calls for the reconstruction of Gaza

On Monday, Jordan King Abdullah II renewed his country rejecting the displacement of the Palestinians and the need to work to rebuild Gaza and sustain the ceasefire and double the flow of relief aid.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to local affairs were discussed in addition to regional developments, especially the serious conditions in Gaza and the escalation in the West Bank, and the importance of supporting stability in Syria and Lebanon.

The Speaker of Parliament Ahmed Al -Safadi and heads of the Permanent Committees in the Council expressed their appreciation for the king’s positions towards Arab issues, especially the Palestinian issue, and the support of the Palestinian people.

They pointed out that the House of Representatives is keen to continue to play its supervisory and legislative role and follow up the implementation of the update with its three paths, and to sustain cooperation with the government, in the service of the higher interests of the state. (Russia today)
