We occupy the second place globally in the huge yacht industry

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdel Qader Uraloglu, said that his country is ranked second in the world in the huge yacht industry.

He added in a statement, on Saturday, that Türkiye recently received 146 requests to manufacture yacht, its total length is 6 thousand and 410 meters, and with an average length of 43.9 meters.

He explained that his country accounts for 12.9 percent of the total global manufacturing requests in this sector, according to the data of the “huge global yacht requests book for 2025” issued by the “Boat” international yacht company.

He stressed that Türkiye, with its strong infrastructure, is considered one of the world leading countries in the field of marine industries, and pointed out that his country is competing with countries such as Italy, the Netherlands and England in the manufacture of huge yachts.

He also stated that Turkish shipbuilding basins have made great progress in the fields of advanced technology and design in recent years, which strengthened their competitiveness in the world.

The minister pointed out that these ponds receive manufacturing requests from all over the world.

The Turkish minister pointed out that his country is not only distinguished by its productive ability in the yacht industry, but also its high quality and success in the areas of design and innovation. (Anatolia)
