Member of the “Democratic Meeting” bloc, Deputy Wael Abu Faour, confirmed that “he did not participate in the funeral of Hezbollah’s Secretary -General Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safi Al -Din. The Socialist Progressive Party also distanced itself from participation because the funeral took the character of a political celebration in a large part of it.

He said: “He studied the matter, and we would have participated, but the decision was taken to neutralize ourselves from this political scene, which was intended to deliver certain political messages. Accordingly, there will be a party visit to offer condolences, as in the next two days Hezbollah will open the door for condolences.

Abu Faour added, in an interview with the “Lebanese scene” program on “Al -Hurra:“ The words of Hezbollah Secretary -General Naim Qasim in the funeral were rational and can be built on, but the Iranian presence formed a clear message that Iran will not evacuate Lebanon entirely, there are doubts about An Iranian role is still ongoing in Lebanon that does not respect Lebanese laws, if it is in aviation or in other matters.

Abu Faour went to Iran by saying: “Let Lebanon breathe.”

He pointed out that “Lebanon is not a rear park for anyone, and it is not possible for Iran to think that it is a rear garden for it.” He said: “We do not want Lebanon to be subject to any external control. Also, we do not want to get out of the Iranian guardianship in order to go to another guardianship, so what the President of the Republic and the government try to draw is that Lebanon be immune to all these matters.

He added: “In the next stage, the logic calling for reconciliation with Israel will be strengthened. Here, it will be the great disaster that can create an internal conflict in Lebanon, and the current American administration will push in the direction of reconciliation with Israel, and it has been provided with basic Lebanese officials and major figures in Lebanon with this matter, which was rejected. No one spoke with us on this issue because our position is known, and the most that we can reach with Israel is the armistice agreement. ”

Abu Faour stressed that “it is not excluded that the reconciliation with Israel is imposed on the official Lebanon,” he pointed out that “the rejecting components are much greater than that wish,” warning that “this issue creates a major internal crisis, which may lead to a clash between the Lebanese” .

He called for “Lebanese -Lebanese reconciliation with the state project,” stressing “the necessity of grabbing and devising all positive messages”, and said: “The president of the republic and the government can find a minimum of reconciliation in options between the Lebanese components.”

He pointed out that “Hezbollah is a basis for the internal Lebanese balances and cannot be overcome, and the rational and rational political forces must facilitate the return of Hezbollah to the Lebanese state.”

When Abu Faour saw that “Lebanon is carrying out all the measures required of it to withdraw Israeli excuses,” he asked: “Are the countries from which the ceasefire monitoring committee is ready to exercise political pressure on Israel to stop the attacks on Lebanon? Is the American administration, which in one night, order Benjamin Netanyahu to implement the hostage exchange deal in Gaza, cannot force Israel to withdraw from the five points in southern Lebanon? He concluded: “Even the words that we heard by some American visitors are not reassuring, and what it is that Israel will not withdraw from southern Lebanon unless Hezbollah’s weapon is delivered and the implementation of Resolution 1559, and I do not understand the relationship between the two.”
