Saudi Arabia launched the first industrial city dedicated to the manufacture and maintenance of aircraft in Jeddah on an area of ​​1.2 million square meters, according to what the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced during the Aviation Industry Forum held in Jeddah.

The forum is witnessing discussions on developing the infrastructure for the aviation industry in the Kingdom, and supporting research and development in this field to create an attractive business environment for local and international investors.

The first license was delivered to the Middle East Aircraft Motors Ltd., and the Saudi Airlines Company for Engineering and the Aviation Industry obtained the second license.

The first edition of the Saudi Aviation Industry Forum and the accompanying exhibition started in Jeddah today and continues until tomorrow, and a group of local and international experts and specialists in the aviation industry gathered to form a vital platform for exchanging knowledge and cooperation between companies and manufacturers in this strategic sector.
