An attractive Israeli offers for residents of Quneitra!

A few days ago and the news conflicting with attractive offers made by the Israeli army to the residents of some areas in southern Syria, entered it since last December, after the fall of former President Bashar al -Assad.

Where the Israeli army took control of the highlands of Jabal Al -Sheikh, Quneitra Governorate, villages and towns located in the governorate countryside and extends to the borders of two adjacent governorates.

Although there is no official Israeli declaration on this, the Israeli forces that were conducted in southern Syria and established military bases that were almost permanent, especially with the construction of residential buildings for their forces, submitted some economic offers to the residents of the south, according to sources from Quneitra.

The sources indicated to Al -Arabiya that the Israeli army counted the end of last week the number of residents of the areas where it was stationed in southern Syria, with the aim of knowing their number and the number of those who can work with knowing their professions, ages and educational level.

It also indicated that the army provided them with promises to work inside Israeli territory.

However, this promise did not reach the point of employing Syrians in Israel, according to local sources. She stressed that “the Israeli army does not want to employ Syrians to work inside Israeli territory, but it has made offers to work for some of the population of southern Syria, so that they enter Israel in the morning and return from them at night to Syria as it was happening in the Gaza Strip.”

She also added that “the Israeli army expressed to those who presented them with job offers its desire to issue entry statements that enable them to enter and work in Israel, as they were doing exactly with the Palestinians working on its soil, in exchange for a sum of money for each worker that is large compared to salaries in Syria.”

The Israeli side provided promises to each worker obtaining a daily wage ranging between 75 and 100 US dollars, which means in reality the salary of a Syrian employee for several months in light of the suffocating economic crisis that the country has been experiencing since the outbreak of the war in it nearly 14 years ago.

This daily wage, which is high compared to income in the country, would seduce many Syrians, in exchange for others’ rejection of this matter, given that Tel Aviv “occupies” their lands.

In the context, Al -Arabiya tried to communicate with government employees in Quneitra and its countryside, but they refused to comment on the Israeli offer.

It is reported that the people of some villages and towns in southern Syria have previously rejected humanitarian aid provided by the Israeli army.

While Israel is trying, by various military and economic means, to establish its presence in southern Syria, where it has established at least 7 military sites so far.

Since the fall of Assad on the eighth of September, the Israeli army announced that it had taken locations in the buffer zone (more than 10 sites) in the occupied Golan Heights, which separate the areas under Israeli and Syrian control since 1974, and its forces soon penetrated into several areas and points in the ocean That buffer zone.

It also took control of the eastern side of Jabal Al -Sheikh, and while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that this measure is temporary and a defensive nature aimed at curbing the potential threats of his country from the Syrian side, but at the same time he indicated that the forces will remain there until Israel gets guarantees Security on the border.

Yesterday, he repeated the emphasis on the need for southern Syria to remain a demilitarized zone.
