The Minister of Interior continued the progress of security measures and measures taken on the occasion of Nasrallah’s funeral

The Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Brigadier General Ahmed Al -Hajjar, has followed, since the morning, the progress of security measures and measures taken by the Internal Security Forces, the security and military services and civil defense on the occasion of the funeral of the Secretary -General of Hezbollah, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, in the city of Camille Chamoun and its surroundings.

The Under -Security Forces Operations Room was inspected for this purpose, and he was briefed from the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman and the concerned officers on the proper implementation of the plan established and all the measures taken on the ground in terms of controlling security on the roads, maintaining the security of citizens and mosques and organizing traffic in the ocean.

The security and military forces have begun implementing the necessary security measures since yesterday evening and dawn on all the complications and roads leading from Beirut and all regions to the funeral site in the Sports City.
