The mayor of Jounieh received an Italian military delegation from UNIFIL to discuss cooperation projects

The mayor of Jounieh Joan Hobeish received, in the presence of the director of the “Al-Juna” center, Nicole Nameh, Colonel Bruno Benedict and Major Matteo Vitolano and their team, as part of an Italian military delegation from the United Nations forces operating in Lebanon, who are officials of the Military ITALIAN Bilateral. Mission in Lebanon-Mibil) And (CIVIL Military Cooperration-CIMIC).

The visit came to survey and research new projects for this year, after a fruitful cooperation sponsored by Jounieh Municipality last year between Mibil/Cimic and the Yanbu Association.

Hobeish thanked the Italian state for its “initiatives and support it provides to the Lebanese”, and the attendees agreed to meet soon to launch the new initiative.
