The sponsor of the Maronite of the Maronite Archbishop Antoine Bou Najm and the Director General of the Foundation of Dr. Wadih Al -Hajj, Representative Razi Al -Hajj, held a press conference during which we announced the start of the work of the St. Charbel Center for Primary Health Care in Qurna Shahwan, in the presence of the Alexandrian MP Monsignor Charbel Ghusoub, the bishop of social work in the Barashiya Al -Khoury Nayef Al -Zenati, and the members of the Doctor Association Wadih Al -Hajj.

Al -Hajj gave a speech in which he affirmed that “Dr. Wadih Al -Hajj Foundation took it upon itself to complete the Wadih Al -Hajj Humanitarian march in the region, the most beloved of his“ text ”heart, which lived for nearly forty years a healthy servant and a social paramedic for it.

He said: “We announce today, in cooperation with the Maronite Diocese of Antelias, the opening of the second health care center for the institution after our first center in Bskinta, and this initiative is the tenth in fifteen years of continuous work continuously for a work team consisting of dozens of volunteers, administrators, doctors, nurses, paramedics and activists.”

He added: “I think this center will have a great and effective role in spreading the concept of health care, providing free medical examinations, securing chronic medicines and vaccines from the Ministry of Public Health, in addition to many laboratory examinations. This center targets nearly twenty towns in the center of Al -Matn, and thousands of residents of that region will benefit from it.

Al -Hajj concluded: “The most important thing in this center is that it bears the name of Saint Charbel, who said:“ There is nothing on the ground … if he is saved by the sky. ”Thus, the owner of the house (Mrs. Rose and Badi Makarzel) did when they gave their house to the Maronite Archdiocese, and today they witness from The sky turns this house into a health center in the service of man, and thus we will continue to work for the common good without permission, no exception, or no Discrimination with morals and love. ”

Al -Hajj Bishop Bou Najm thanked, “who began to lead a revolution on traditional concepts as an ecclesiastically and socially, because he knew how to convey the words to actions and projects in the interest of the common good.”

Bo Najm

For his part, Bishop Bou Bou Najm considered that “the project of cooperation between the two parties is the work of Senodesi with distinction, and this is the only way that concludes Lebanon by moving away from the uniqueness of decisions and taking them together.”

He added: “This center is to serve every human being in all his affiliations, so that we can be in the example of Jesus Christ who embodied and came to serve. The Church is proud of its children, especially what MP Razi Al -Hajj does to fulfill the desire of the donors (Rose and Badi Makarzel) to transform their home to serve the human being.

He continued: “The framework of the opening of this dispensary is based on the Singo spirit, especially that this year is a Yobilian year that includes visiting the patient and serving him with all dignity, because our message is for every human being in Lebanon, and the message of the church is a message of life, love, and cooperation.”

Bou Najm wished at the end that “the new government should assume its responsibilities, and to find appropriate solutions for the health sector to be available to everyone.”

It should be noted that the health center will open its doors starting from the third of next March, according to a work program, and the Dr. Wadih Al -Hajj Foundation will announce the preparation for a workshop on the health sector in Al -Matn on March 28, provided that it is called soon.
