He continued: “The Ministry of Youth and Sports, is a visionary and civilizational ministry that is concerned with the state of tomorrow, it is the Ministry of Youth, and the Ministry of Sports, and your Excellency is better than those who knew, news, and the aspirations of the aspirations of the youth, their expectations and their concerns through your academic responsibilities. From this standpoint, the government (Together to Salvation), headed by Mr. Naguib Mikati in May 2022, approved the National Youth Strategy Document (as a work plan for the national youth policy), so Lebanon has a vision strategy, bearing hopes, achieving ambitions and adopting bridges between Lebanese and Arab youth societies, and this is a task that cherishes Lebanon By adopting, in terms of the guarantee of visions and principles on which to formulate the youth site in Lebanon tomorrow.

He said: “This strategy is prepared by a job staff in the ministry, which is credited with providing a gift for tomorrow’s youth. Thanks and appreciation to everyone who has worked, effort, suggested and accomplished, and left his mark in every regulatory field, administrative development and modernization of laws and regulations, in a kind cooperation with the Youth and Parliamentary Committee, stressing the integration of the role Between the ministry and the committee.

He said: “As in the youth sector, Lebanon has succeeded in a self -effort of clubs and sports federations in upholding the affair of sport and raising its position and standing in Lebanon, the Arab countries and the world, and the duty to estimate these efforts and the necessity of encouraging federations, clubs and associations and support them financially when the credits are available.” Throughout my ministerial state, there were no balances to provide aid and provide financial contributions, given that there are not enough allocations in the budget.

Minister Birchdarian replied by saying: “I am pleased and honored to have the confidence of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister to appoint me as Minister of Youth and Sports in this government in order to serve our beloved homeland, Lebanon. With dedication and sincerity in leading the path of this ministry, and seize this occasion to express my thanks and appreciation for all the efforts he made in the management of this ministry and its sailing in a precise stage in the history of Lebanon, and promised him to complete the march that he started, because the administration is continuity, and continuity is the corner of active institutional frameworks And you are the corner of this continuity.

She added: “This government comes under the slogan of reform and construction, in order to establish the foundations of change and establishment for the coming stages, as the President of the President suggested, and therefore we have to plan, search, discuss, suggest and do with the aim of establishing the future Lebanon, and hope for Lebanon for a better future dependent without doubt about its youth, so young people are the power The real thing that can rise in Lebanon to the ranks of developed countries, and from here my priority will be to support and empower young people and open doors to them, for active participation in building a modern and developed society.

She continued: “In the field of the action plan that I see for this ministry, which carries two files, the youth file and the sports file, I will present today general visions to crystallize according to the phased steps towards building (a national strategy for youth and sports in Lebanon), and we will announce the steps leading to this strategy in A future stage. In the philosophy of strategy in the sports field, we will seek to develop the diplomacy of sports, its application and promotion, as the diplomacy today has become several contents and sport diplomacy, the most important of which are (along with the diplomacy of science and culture and others), and it is considered an effective tool in developing international cooperation at the external level, community development and unity Patriotism internally, and it aims to employ sports in encouraging dialogue, peace and mutual understanding between countries, peoples and political entities.

She said: “I look forward to documenting relations with friendly countries by organizing bilateral and multilateral activities, and on the homeland I look forward to consolidating the building of national unity by building bridges between sects through various sports activities. Lebanon has several achievements in the sports field that we cherish, and we have entrusted to complete investment, support and encouragement in order to continue these achievements and grow them according to the available capabilities. The sports file has different aspects and we will seek to meet it with our utmost efforts in order to support, encourage and develop this field. I also wish and become in particular to cooperate with the Lebanese Army Foundation in organizing joint sporting activities, in addition to creating opportunities for cooperation between the Lebanese army and Lebanese youth in several fields, in order to consolidate The values ​​embodied by this distinguished military establishment for Lebanese youth.
She said: “After reviewing the files of this bag, and after diving in its challenges and issues, we will announce the plan to achieve the national strategy for youth and sports in Lebanon, provided that the youth and sports themselves do their fields, its pillars and details.”

As for the youth affairs, she said: “I look forward to involving university youth, based on my academic field, in order to involve them in the aforementioned steps. From this platform, I go to the Lebanese university and non -university youth, to say and confirm that this ministry is your ministry and will do and work for all All, to Lebanon, coexistence, openness, cooperation, reform and construction.

She continued: “In this ministry, we will look forward to the responsible youth, who has a spirit of responsibility in these areas, whether in universities, civil society and sports forums, and I promise you that I will work to support youth projects and initiatives, organize workshops and provide platforms for youth bodies at local levels by involving them In proposing policies and indirect participation in decision -making, in parallel to encourage awareness programs for young people in general.

She added: “This ministry will be a platform to listen to the aspirations and aspirations of young people and seek to transform these aspirations into government policies through the strategy plan, and we will work transparently and cooperate with various sectors of government institutions, civil society and a private sector in order to provide real opportunities for our youth and develop the sports sector in a manner befitting Lebanon and its ancient history in sport.
