Gaza belongs to the Palestinians and will not be bound

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a visit to Pakistan on Thursday, criticized Israel, defended the Palestinians in Gaza and condemned the ideas aimed at forcibly displacing them from their land.

In statements during a business forum, Erdogan accused Israel of not adhering to the ceasefire agreement, warning that the area is being dragged “towards blood and tears again.”

Erdogan renewed his opposition to the proposal of US President Donald Trump to resettle the Palestinians outside Gaza.

He said in a televised speech delivered at a business forum in Islam Bad: “Gaza belongs to our brothers and sisters in Gaza and will remain so forever.”

He added: “The homeland for which the Palestinians sacrificed tens of thousands of their children are not negotiable.”
