Al -Baath received an invitation from Hezbollah to participate in the funeral of Nasrallah and Wasfi al -Din

The Secretary -General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Ali Hegazy, received a delegation from the leadership of Hezbollah headed by the Vice -President of the Political Council of Hezbollah, Hajj Mahmoud Qumati, accompanied by the assistant of the National Relations Officer Dr. Ali Daher, Sheikh Saeed Nasser Al -Din, and Mr. Maitham Qamati, in the presence of the members of the Central Command, Dr. Ali Gharib and Engineer Akram Younis.

The statement continued: “The delegation was delivered to Hegazy and the leadership of Al -Baath is an invitation to participate in the funeral of the two great martyrs, the Secretary -General of Hezbollah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, and the Secretary -General of Hezbollah, Mr. Hashem Safi Al -Din.”

He added: “After the meeting, a joint statement was issued on the two societies, in which they confirmed that this funeral will be a major popular referendum on the option of resistance, which will fall, some of some about the decline in popular support for the resistance. Acceptance of any proposal to extend the deadline beyond February 18, whatever the American pressures and the accompanying threats.

He added: “In the same context, the meeting stressed the necessity of launching the wheel of reconstruction without delay or obstacles, especially in light of the desire of the Islamic Republic in Iran to provide adequate financial support, but it faces unjustified obstacles and without any alternative.”

He concluded: “The two parties also emphasized the stability of their historical alliance, which will continue to confront all national challenges and benefits, including the initiation of building the state as a common interest for all.
The two parties rejected the crazy plan presented by US President Donald Trump, which aims to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip and include the West Bank, in a clear ignorance of the great sacrifices made by the people of the Gaza Strip in defense of their land, stressing the need to secure an Arab consensus to reject this plan and work to thwart it. .
