The Minister of Economy, Amer Al -Bassat, revealed, this evening, that “any program with the IMF will be a Lebanese program and we will discuss a fair solution to deposits away from its whistle and any solution that must be related to the recovery of the banking sector.”

Al -Bassat continued in his speech through the “MTV” that “I have experiences in managing crisis and my goal with the government to deliver Lebanon to what we aspire to and the role of the Minister of Economy is essential in the next stage.”









He added: “The idea of ​​monopolizing the Sunni street in the government is incorrect and open to everyone and my presence in the government is professional and technical.”

Al -Bassat stressed that “we believe in the private sector and we will work on a fair and fair mechanism for all depositors in the event of bankruptcy and stumbling.”

He pointed out that “we will work to restore confidence and restore Lebanon to the place where it should be, and today it is far from it.”
