Saad Hariri met the Mufti Drian and visitors in the center house

President Saad Hariri received in the center of the center the Grand Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Drian at the head of an expanded delegation from the Mufti of the regions, the judges of Sharia, imams and heads of endowment circles and mosque preachers, in the presence of the President of the Hariri Foundation Bahia Hariri and the advisor to Prime Minister Hariri for Islamic Affairs Ali Al -Janani.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Hariri noted “the wisdom and moderation of muftis and religious scholars, especially in the articulated moments that the country went through.”

The expanded meeting was preceded by a meeting that included Prime Minister Hariri and Mufti Drian in the presence of Mrs. Hariri, during which the general situation and developments were presented.

Prime Minister Hariri had met the Russian ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rodakov, in the presence of Bahia Hariri and advisers George Shaaban and Hani Hammoud.

After the meeting, the Russian ambassador said: “I conducted a useful meeting with Prime Minister Hariri, during which we discussed the internal political conditions and the recent achievements that took place with the election of the president of the republic and the formation of the government. The meeting with Prime Minister Hariri always occurs in these days that separate us from the anniversary of the assassination of the martyr President Rafik Hariri, but we are in constant contact with him, he is an old friend of the Russian Federation, and everyone knows the history of relations that link his father the martyr president in Russia and its leadership, and these relations will continue and be useful for the two countries . We wish all the best for the Lebanese state and its people. ”

Prime Minister Hariri also met the United Nations Special Coordinator in Lebanon, Jenin Hennis-Blaskart, in the presence of Mrs. Hariri and advisers, Dr. Ghattas Khoury and Hani Hammoud, and presented with her the latest local and regional developments. After the meeting, Blaskart was satisfied with saying: “I am very grateful to see Prime Minister Hariri in Beirut.”

Prime Minister Hariri also received the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Alaa Moussa, who said as an impact: “I was honored to meet with Prime Minister Hariri, as we dealt with many matters, especially those related to the Lebanese affairs. We talked about the stage that Lebanon went through and the next stage, and I touched on his country a positive and optimistic view regarding the future benefits in Lebanon, and he has great optimism in the election of President Joseph Aoun and assigning President Nawaf Salam. He believes that the title of the new government “reform and rescue” is an important title, and that indicators indicate that there is a great possibility to achieve a great deal of achievements, and therefore the situation is good for all.

He added: “We also talked about the regional affairs and the challenges the region is going through, and its summary is that Lebanon must be strong, after returning to the Arab scene again and practicing it for its entire role, because it will have an impact on what is happening in the region, which in turn affects not only the states In particular, but also on Lebanon. Accordingly, all hopes are that the coming period will witness many positive steps to return Lebanon again to its position and its required role, which we have entrusted to Lebanon in the past years.

He was asked: As part of the five -year committee, did you touch the intention of Prime Minister Hariri that the possibility of a return to political life, and do you support this return if it happens?

He answered: The situation in Lebanon requires the work of all political currents, and when these currents work in a healthy, open and believing atmosphere, this increases and enriches the result that the country will come out. Thus, all political currents are required to work. Perhaps there were different circumstances and some obstacles, but now I think that the scene is open to all and the opportunity to work has become greater, and when any party decides to resume its political activity, it will be a decision in his favor and the good of Lebanon.

Prime Minister Hariri also met the Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohamed Nour Rahman Al -Sheikh, who after the meeting expressed his happiness at the meeting of Prime Minister Hariri, stressing that “his country wishes peace, prosperity and sovereignty for Lebanon.”
